Occupation: Accounting Assistant
Marital Status: Married From Kristy: After high school, I went to the U of M and got my B.S. in Elementary Education. However, shortly before I graduated, I realized teaching was not for me, but I was kind of burned out on school so I didn't switch majors. I worked as an accounting clerk for several different companies, including Westburne Supply, where I met my husband, Vince. He is an operations manager. We were married in 1996 and live in New Hope. I now work for States Electric Manufacturing as an accountant and really enjoy it. My husband and I enjoy hanging out with friends and travelling. We've been to Jamaica, Cozumel, Hawaii, and a few Caribbean cruises. |

Occupation: Kindergarten Teacher
Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From Elisa: Hello 1987 Richfield Classmates! What a blast to see and hear about all of the changes in everyone's lives! It's so great to see that life has been good to all! Thanks for organizing the website, ladies. It's wonderful! After graduating from Augsburg College in 1991, I was lucky enough to marry Lance Odegard (Richfield Class of 1985) right away in July. We have lived in Burnsville ever since. I have been an elementary teacher since 1991 too and am currently a half-day kindergarten teacher in Burnsville. I am also in the middle of earning my masters degree from Concordia University. In 1995, we were blessed with our first child, Ashley Elisabeth. She is now twelve and loves to perform in plays. She will be heading off to junior high for the first time in the fall. Our second blessing came in 1999. His name is Matthew Josef. He is nine now and is crazy for the game of baseball. He will be in fourth grade at the same school I teach in. We love to travel as a family. Our favorite place is DisneyWorld. It feels like a home away from home. NYC, Chicago, California, and Hawaii are other fun destinations we have explored together. Costa Rica is next on our list! I have great memories of high school days! Of course, meeting my husband there ranks as #1, but winning the State Danceline title was pretty special too. I had such fun with so many wonderful friends and still see Pam (Twernbold) Iverson and Keri (Pregler) Simacek. We even recently reconnected with Jenny (Plathe) Hofer! It was fun to see everyone at the ten-year reunion. Hopefully, I will see you again at the 25th! Best wishes and God bless! |

Occupation: Software Consultant
Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 3 From Scott: After high school I went out into the world to become a rock star. That didn't work out so well... I'm currently on a contract with RBC Dain Rauscher in Minneapolis, where I ran into Shawn Olson who told me about this site. Nice job guys; it looks great. My wife Michelle works for Accenture as a corporate recruiter at Best Buy back in good ol' Richfield-- 1/2 mile from my parent's house. They still watch the kids for us from time to time. Sam is our performer. She studies ballet at the Minnesota Dance Theatre in Minneapolis and loves to be on stage. She also works with a local theater troope here in hudson (www.sosplayers.org). Trevor loves the water. He holds the eight-and-under record for the 50M Breaststroke at his swim club (www.hudsonswimteam.org). We plan to take SCUBA lessons together when he's old enough, and he wants to study marine biology. Soren doesn't look much past his sixth birthday party this Saturday at Chuck E. Cheese's. He helps me remember to appreciate the simple things... Have fun at the reunion; my best to all... P.S. Where did you get that 'then' photo?? I thought I had them all destroyed... |

Occupation: Consultant
Marital Status: Single From Shawn: Great job on the site folks! I really enjoyed reading some (actually all) of the summaries out there. After RHS, I went to Mankato State ('91 grad) with a BS in Comp Sci/Business Mgmt. From there I worked with Cerdian and lived in Atlanta for a year (pre '96 Olympics). Upon returning, took a job with Lawson Software in St. Paul and travelled a ton. A Mariott really looks the same in just about every state. Currently, I'm consulting and trying to golf as much as possible. These are my nieces Samantha and Annika. I keep tabs on some of the '87 clan and look forward to seeing you all at the reunion. PS Anyone want to golf before the reunion? |

Occupation: Stay at home mom
Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 4 From Tamara: Well where do I start, After high school I attended Normandale and then Mankato state where I received my elem. Ed degree. While attending college I thought it would be fun to add children to my life. I had Martine (18) on my 20th birthday and then 22 months later had Jeni and Jessica (16). They were there to cheer me on when I graduated from Mankato State in '96. We then moved to Lakeville where I ran Child Care Centers before I met and married the man of my dreams, Keith (he is from Hermantown which is up by Duluth). We now have added Cody (7) to our family. We moved to Saginaw in 2001, it is north of Duluth. My son has been diagnosed with Autism, this is the main reason I am a stay at home mom, which I really enjoy. I was a single mom for so many years I feel lucky to spend this much time with my kids. My oldest will be in her Junior year at the College of St. SCholastica this fall. For my twins one will be attending NDSU and has made the Cheer team and the other will be attending Lake Superior College in Duluth. My husband is a truck driver so when he gets time off we spend lots of time at home or camping with friends. We were able to take the girls to Cancun last year for a big vacation before they all move out. In my spare time, ha ha, I volunteer for the American Legion Auxiliary and volunteer at Minnesota Girls State. As for high school memories obvious for me includes Tapaires (who could forget state) and DECA. It was wonderful to see everyone at the reunion. |
