Hello everyone.  Hope all of you are doing well.  Although I have not kept in touch with too many of you since we graduated, I have enjoyed running into some of you over the years and catching up.

I have been married to my wife, Laurele, for 12 years and have combined our families to have 3 girls, Amanda (20), Breanna (20), and Haley (18).  Both Amanda and Haley are attending college at UMD and Breanna is at Winona State University.

We moved back to Richfield and built a new house there several years ago.

I am working in Chanhassen for Checkpoint Security as a Project Manager in the Installation Department.

Hi all,

I have two kids, Ryan 8 and Erin 7, and have been married for 10 years to my beautiful wife Mary, a "Cake Eater" (no, not a pastry chef).
I have had a busy last 20 years so lets get to it.  I graduated from St. Thomas in '91 with a business degree.  I worked at Town and CC in St. Paul and soon learned that I wanted to be a Golf Course Superintendent (the one that takes care of the golf course).  Right after school I went to Pebble Beach, CA and worked the '92 US Open.  I then went to Penn State for my Turfgrass Management certificate (yes, to learn how to grow grass!!!).  I did my internship at DuPont CC in Delaware and graduated from Penn State in '95.  I then went to work at Troon Golf & CC in Scottsdale, AZ as an assistant.  Two years later I went to work at The Cypress Point Club in Pebble Beach, CA.  I was there one year as the assistant and finally landed my own course in the East Bay of Northern Cal.  I was there 8 years and just recently moved to Henderson, NV (Southern suburb to Las Vegas) to take care of a course called Anthem CC.  My wife and kids love it here and we hope to stay through high school.
I was really hoping to come back this year for the reunion but I will have to play it by ear.  The busiest time of year for us at the course is a time called overseeding.  Unfortunately, the reunion sits right in the middle of us growing in the course.  If not, I hope everyone has a great time and hope to see you at the next one!!!

Unbelievable. Twenty years since we graduated high school. Here’s a brief recap (a daunting task, as I think about it.) I worked for a couple years before going to school at Mankato State in 1989. Started off in mechanical engineering before realizing (in Calculus VI!) that I didn’t care much for it, and switched to computer science, not because I really loved that either, but at least I could graduate faster. I took a year off before my senior year to go do missionary work in Lithuania. That was the most profound experience of my life! I realized I’ve never felt at home in America – the culture here is so disconnected. There people would sit for hours talking in coffee houses. I found I could just be myself, perhaps for the first time.

I was so impacted by the experience that sincerely all I wanted in life was to grow old and die there, no exaggeration. To prep for that, during my last year at MSU I started volunteering at the local community center as an ESL tutor. One of my students, incidentally a very attractive girl, had just immigrated from Russia. She only knew a few words of English, and I knew a few words of Russian, but that was enough to be cute, apparently; we’ve been married now for 11 years.  We’ve got three girls, Larissa – 10, Cassandra – 8,Savannah – 7. So I didn’t end up going back over there, “over there” came to me instead.

I’ve been working as a software architect for the last 10 years or so (omigosh!) I generally like the field, it seems to fit my analytic nature pretty well, but in my ideal world I would have pursued a PhD in philosophy and become a professor somewhere.

This reminiscing reminds me of a Steven Wright joke I heard the other day. Something like, “I got to wondering how my life would have been different if I had born one day earlier. Maybe nothing, except I would have asked this question yesterday.”

I have been married for 18 years and have 3 kids (Cory 16, Brittany 11, Stephanie 9).  Cory will be a senior this year.  Man that makes me feel old.

We have done some traveling to places like Thailand, Mexico, Florida, South Dakota, Arizona, and of course Las Vegas many times, always a great time.

Our favorite things to do for fun are ATV, Snowmobile and Camping.  We also like to go to the cabin and hang out with family.

Thanks to all of you on the planning committee for getting all of this together, GREAT JOB!!!

Hope to see you all soon.

My goodness!  This is such a wonderful site!  I thank all who took the time to put it together and find me!  This is the first reunion that I have heard about.  It was so fun to read about all of you and the amazing things that everyone has done.  I can't believe 20 years has gone by!  For me the last 20 years has been incredible and a learning experience.  Life has a funny way of doing that though doesn't it!
After High School I went on to become a Medical Assistant and did about everything I could possibly do in that position.  I was checking into furthering my educatioin and stumbled upon a teaching job.  So, I went and got certified to teach and became an instructor for Brown Institue.  I taught Medical Assisting for the next four years.  Unfortunately, Brown decided to close the program.  I decided at that time to go back to college to get my RN degree, which I did and have been doing since.  I started out as a Med~Surg Nurse and loved it, but I didn't like the hospital hours.  So, I then went on to do Home Health care as a RN Case Manager and have been doing that ever since.  The hours are great, it gives me a lot of autonomy and affords me time with my family.
I have 2 children, Jennifer who will be 20 in August, and James who just turned 14 in June.  Jennifer was married last July and I have a wonderful son~in~law named Donny.  Also, I just found out that I am going to be a Grandma!  Now doesn't that make one feel old!!  My son will be starting High School this year and is into every sport you could imagine!  We also have a German Shepherd, Sadie.  So that is it in a nut shell!
I am so thankful to those who found me and look forward to seeing all of you!

After graduating I attended school for American Sign language. I moved to Colorado and lived there for 6 years.  I was married and had two boys with my first husband.  Joshua who is 12 and Nicholas who is 9.  I met my fiance in Colorado where we both worked in Downtown Denver.  We moved to Minnesota for a short while but soon moved to Texas to be closer to Kens younger brother who is terminally ill.  We recently had a little boy who will be 1 years old in July.  I havent seen anyone from high school since the 5 year reunion which was basically like high school all over again.  Looking forward to seeing old friends at the 20 year reunion

This website is so great - it's fun to see how everyone's doing.  I graduated from University of St. Thomas with a degree in Business.  While in college I worked front desk at Embassy Suites and got the hospitality bug.  I ended up staying in the business and with Embassy Suites and moved to Orlando in 1994 thinking I'd move back to Minnesota within 6 months.  It's now been 13 years of me living in Florida, including a year in Boca Raton and now 10 years in Cocoa Beach.  Living here reminds me of a beachside Richfield, so it feels like home.  I now manage the Doubletree Oceanfront Hotel in Cocoa Beach and love it.  I've been married to my husband Gregg for 10 years and our son Jake is 4 and is so much fun.   He's already skateboarding at the local scateboard park and trying to surf.  I'm hoping to find a hockey league for him in a couple years.  I'm still a Vikings & Twins fan and we take our son to Twins Spring Training every year.  My husband is from Huntsville, AL and went to Auburn so I am now a big Auburn & SEC Football fan.

For travel, we make it to MN a few times per year to see family & friends.  We've done a lot of  long weekend trips...some of our favorites were New York, New Orleans (pre-Katrina), San Francisco, Yosemite,  Abaco Islands, St. Lucia, US & Brittish Virgin Islands.  We've had fun exploring Florida and spend a lot of time in Alabama & Georgia visiting my husband's family & friends.    For fun we like to go sailing, biking, and playing at the beach.   We have visitors all the time - especially in the winter and love entertaining.  Looking forward to seeing you all at the reunion.
