Occupation: Technical Architect
Marital Status: Divorced No. of Children: 2 From Reed: Sweet website! Thanks to all that worked on it as well as organizing the reunion!
Hey Richfield class of '87! 20 years already? No way! Seems like time passes faster the older you get.
Here's my story. After high school, I went to Normandale for a couple years and then transferred to Mankato State University. I graduated in '92 with a BS in Computer Science. I then went to work for Rivertown Trading Company as a computer programmer until '98, when it was acquired by Target Corporation. I have worked for Target in their IT organization ever since.
I still see "the fellas" once in a while...Glenn Caspers, Jim Hibbits, John Kolb, Mark Williams, Chris Knox & Todd Ness. Also keep in touch with Doug English and get together with Kirby Schimmels and Shannon Bownds when they visit Minnesota. You can contact me at reed28 at Y! Looking forward to the reunion! *** Update - 10/4/2007 - Just thought I would also share that my daughter was crowned Little Miss Richfield this past July. She loves it! It kept us busy this summer going to lots of parades and events. You can see a couple pictures in the "Little Miss Richfield" thread I posted to the Message Board 'Miscellaneous' section. |

Occupation: Pediatric Nurse
Practitioner Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From Elizabeth: What have I been doing for hte last twenty years? As if fullfilling a stereotype I have gone to school, lived, worked, got married and started my family all with in 20 miles from home. However, there have been a few detours! and I can not complain one bit. I have lived in London, jumped out of a plane (once), traveled thoughout this country, got a graduate degree and even become an officer in the US Navy. Now I am married to the most wonderful man. We have two active and fun children. Vanessa just turned three and is very into the princess theme. Isaac is 20 months and tries to climb everything and do anything that his sister can do. And I work a few days a week as a pediatric nurse practitioner. I still love to be active, although my time for biking, rollerblades and rec sports is more limited now. And I still like to read a good book! This web-site is GREAT! It's been fun seeing what so many of you have been doing and I hope to see many of you at the reunion! |

Occupation: First Grade Teacher
Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 3 From Jolene: I'm living in Adrian, MN (the very southwest corner of MN - 1200 people. I married a pig farmer (Yes, it's very stinky and messy, luckily I don't have to help with the chores). We have been married for 15 years (we met at Mankato in college). We have three boys, Ben (11), Brady (7) and Brock (2). I have been teaching first grade for 13 years and absolutely love it. I coached figure skating while I was going to college in Mankato and then I continued to coach after I got married. I just recently retired from it - I got burnt out! I still skate, but just for fun now! I enjoy taking long walks, golfing, going to the Drive-In and spending time at my parents cabin in Wisconsin. Some of my memories from high school are driving around in Dave Memmel's car (way too fast!), partying at Amy Warner's house, lots of hockey games (the players were so hot!), hanging out with friends -Jill Hickman, Beth Johnson, Heidi Hansen, Ame Hillesheim, Amy Warner, Pam McCleland, Steph Bonley, catching rays at Lake Harriet or Lake Nokomis (won't catch me in a bikini now!) and our senior trip to Mazatlan, Mexico(I still can't believe our parents let us go all by ourselves!!!!) I'm excited to catch up with everyone at the reunion! Picture taken July 16, 2007 - Beth Johnson, Me, Dave Memmel, Jill Hickman, Ron Oster and Ame Hillesheim in front (We got together and had lots of laughs from the past!) |

Website: www.youbelong.net/theherm - ans Marital Status: Married From Dan: Sorry so late in getting to posting this. I will also be missing the reunion. My dad started a radio station and they are having their 40th annivesary that same weekend. Alright some detail. I got married 4 years ago to my beautiful wife Karen. We are in the process of adopting from China. We asked for twins if they are available but told them to not hold up the process. Right after HS I went to three different colleges but ended up graduating from Northwestern College. Been playing soccer till a couple of years ago. Worked after college in a group home for a number of years. Then took a summer off and did what I wanted, mostly worked at a camp in WI. The began working for where I work now, VSI Construction. We do commercial construction and we install office cubicals for people. Well I know I have skipped lots of stuff, I will add more as it comes to me. Thanks! |

Occupation: Financial Analyst
Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From James: Hello Richfield from the Pacific Northwest! After graduation, I attended Normandale before transferring to Wisconsin-River Falls, where I was roommates with John Kolb. After not quite graduating, my wife, Jennifer and I got married, and moved to the outskirts of Seattle, WA in 1997. I landed a job with Mellon Financial, where I have worked for 8 years as an operations analyst. We have 2 goofy children: Mckayla Rose (5) and Benjamin James (2). I still keep in touch with some of my closer Minnesota friends, like Reed Harms, John Kolb, Glenn Caspers, Chris Knox and Mark Williams. We had always planned on moving back eventually, but it gets harder with a career, a mortgage and a growing family. We both miss the Midwest, but have made a life for ourselves up here in the corner of the country, and we couldn't be happier. Go Twins!! |

Occupation: Stay home mom
Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From Kathi: After highschool, I went to Augsburg College and got a degree in Elementary Education. My first job was teaching 5th grade at Richfield Intermediate in the old East school. How bizarre that I was having lunch in the teachers lounge with Mr Legvold, Mr. Davis, Mr. Nelson, and Mrs. Johnson! I am sure they got a kick out of chatty Kathi being a teacher! I have been married for 12 years to my husband Bo, who graduated from Orono. We have 2 girls: Madison 11, and Saylor 5. We live in the Lake Minnetonka area . After I had Madison I quit teaching to stay home. |
